About Me
Dan McDougall started his martial arts career when he was stationed in Europe while his father was on Nato duty for the Canadian Armed Forces in the 80′s.

He was invited to attend a karate class from a new friend at his new high school and has never looked back from that experience. Even though his first class was filled with grueling work outs and hard core conditioning exercises. All there was to do for Dan was to come back the next day, and the next day. He loved training in karate as it gave him a new sense of confidence and self esteem.
After returning to Canada Dan was again invited to attend a local karate class. The instructor was dynamic and caught Dan’s attention right away. In short order Dan was training and earning rank very quickly. After only a few short years of training Dan was invited to take over the dojo and continue teaching in the place of the master instructor, as the master instructor was going to retire. This was a great honor to Dan and one he takes seriously to this day.
Dan has since then grown the dojo in both student body and quality of instruction. Dan has a passion for teaching students of all ages and takes pride in the positive effects his lessons have on their lives.
Dan continues to train under various instructors from all over the world. His vast experience is testament to his undying passion for martial arts training of all kinds.
