Martial Arts Sparring

I’ve been doing TKD in San Francisco for about 3 yrs. Im 12 and the classes i usually take r full of little kids and other people who dont rly take TKD seriously. So, since I actually practice and take classes seriously, I am much better at TKD than the others and I actually know how to apply the moves I am taught. My instructor doesn’t really teach self-defense or do sparring, so I practice both by myself on my own.

I was wondering if anyone knows a place in San Francisco where I can participate in competitions, tournaments, or sparring sessions without having to pay much for classes. I was thinking of something that I could do on weekends, or maybe a legit tournament sort of like those in the movies "Karate Kid" or "Enter the Dragon", sumthing like that.
