Martial Arts Sparring (highlights)
This is a sparring demo of the martial art of hanmudo. It is a Korean martial art which has techniques from judo, taekwondo, hapkido and other Korean martial arts. The demo includes throws, sweeps, locks, kicks and punches. Its not the best in the world but we only had 5 minutes to think of something.

Am I the only one who can totally see Karate being an Olympic sport?
You got Kumite, Kata, music Kata, team Kata, team demonstration. And for Kumite you got point sparring, semi-contact, light contact, full contact, etc…
I can totally see this as a big Olympic event, especially the music Kata and team demonstrations, seeing as how attracted everyone is to the gymnastics demo’s

What do I do to get ready for tournaments?
In two week I’ll be going to a tournament with my karate school and then the week after that I’ll be going to a tournament with my taekwondo school. I’m going to do sparring, bo staff form and traditional form. In the karate tournament I’ll be using my heavy bo and then the taekwondo tournament I’ll be using my demo bo. What are some good ways for me to prepare for the tournaments? These are going to be my first two.

What would be a good song by a female artist to do a martial arts demo to?
I’m doing a martial arts demo and I need a good upbeat rock song to use for my music. I want to find something with a female singer though. I’ve been considering some Pink songs as well as Joan Jett and even The Donnas. I want something that anyone could like, something popular that everyone should know and be familiar with. Nothing to heavy either. Thanks for the help!
