How can I start parkour?
I’ve been really into parkour since my older brother showed me when I was about 9. Lately I’ve been telling myself that I’m going to start practicing it, and working out more. I’m 13, and I’ve been doing pilates for a while now so I have a strong core but I’ve been trying to put together a way to train for parkour. I have a YMCA very close that I can go to to workout, but I also need to put together a workout that I can do at my house. I was wondering if anyone could help me by suggesting some workouts I can do at home, and maybe some things I can do on the equipment at the YMCA.
I’m looking for something that I can do every day, and how long I should do it for before I can actually start parkouring. I have no equipment except for a yoga ball and some dumbbells lol.
I’m also looking for some parkour advice-easy moves that I can learn because I’ve seen a lot of videos but I’m not sure what moves I should try to learn that are fairly easy. (I also might start martial arts because I’ve heard its good for parkour)
